Hi! I’m Jasmin, a 24-year-old ICU nurse based in Athens, GA with a deep love for critical care medicine and a curiosity for the stories that live inside it. My clinical background is rooted in high-acuity, fast-paced environments where precision, adaptability, and emotional intelligence are essential. I have almost two years of clinical expertise in critical care skills such as ACLS, CRRT, EVDs, TTM, vasopressors, and ventilator management, along with my Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN®) certification which I obtained in June 2026.

Working at the bedside has shaped not only how I care for patients, but how I think. Critical care has taught me to stay curious, recognize subtle changes in physiology, make thoughtful decisions under pressure, and advocate for patients when they cannot advocate for themselves. I am particularly fascinated by the relationship between physiology and pharmacology, and by how small clinical decisions can have immediate consequences for a critically ill patient.

Beyond the ICU, I’ve built experience in nursing content creation, amassing more than a million views across several social media platforms, and have authored health and wellness journals through a partnership with St. Mary’s Healthcare System. I enjoy translating clinical knowledge into language that is accessible, engaging, and meaningful to the people experiencing healthcare firsthand. (I also worked as a camp nurse one summer!)

Whether I’m caring for a patient at the bedside or creating something for a broader audience, I’m interested in the same thing: understanding what people need and finding better ways to meet those needs. I’m continuing to grow as a critical care nurse while exploring where my clinical curiosity, love of physiology and pharmacology, and commitment to patient care can take me next.
